Credit Europe Bank in Bucharest changes its name

Credit Europe Bank announced today to change its identity, arguing that the new name “reflects the bank's commitment to provide modern, transparent and client -focused banking services, both corporate and individual customers.”

Credit Europe Bank will be called Nexent Bank, but this change will not affect existing relationships with its customers, the bank representatives said.

The preparations for rebranding are in progress, the complete transition being expected around the middle of 2025. The bank will inform all its customers and partners during this process, which is designed to be transparent, without any impact on existing products and services.
In Romania, Credit Europe Bank offers a wide range of products and services for individuals, SMEs and corporations. Credit Europe Bank has opened a new chapter in the field of digitalization and technology, introducing Apple Pay and Google Pay, launching Monet, the new mobile banking application for all customers, as well as the Advantage SoftPos app. At the same time, the institution's website was relaunched, a new version of the Mobile Advantage2Go application was launched and a new interface of the Internet Banking platform was presented.
Member of the Dutch Financial Group Credit Europe Bank NV, the bank has been active since 1993, when it worked as the industrial and commercial credit bank, becoming Finasbank (in 2000) and then, in 2007, following a rebranding process, receiving Credit Europe Bank (Romania) SA. Starting January 1, 2025, the bank has become a Dutch parent branch, operating under the name Credit Europe Bank NV Amsterdam București Branch, following an intragroup with Credit Europe Bank NV
