CFR Cluj It was categorically imposed, by 4-1, to the detriment of those at lighthousein the semifinals of the Romanian Cup, and in the Great Final will face it on Hermannstadt. The striker of the Cluj, Louis Munteanu (22 years old), was delighted by the performance of his band and has high expectations from the final on May 14th.

CFR Cluj – Hermannstadt is the final of the Romanian Cup 2025
Today's hosts had an almost perfect course this season of the Romanian Cup. CFR finished in Group A in the first place, a group of which they were quickly part, FC Botosani, CS Afumați, Ceahlăul and FC Argeș. The Clujians ended with 7 points after the three stages (2-2 with FC Argeș, 2-1 with Ceahlăul and 2-0 with Rapid).
In “quarters”, Dan Petrescu's band passed by Craiova, 2-1.
On the other hand, Hermannstadt was part of Group C and finished in second place, with 5 points. Group C has encountered a unique situation: Lighthouse, Hermannstadt and Poli Iași accumulated 5 points, but only the goal made the difference for Constanţa (+4). Hermannstadt and Poli Iași had identical goal, (+1), and needed a dam match, won by Sibiu, 1-0.
The results of Hermannstadt in groups were: 2-1 with Unirea Ungheni, 1-1 with Lighthouse and 0-0 with Poli Iași. In the “quarters”, the band of Marius Măldărășanu passed Reșita, 4-0, and in the rapid semifinals, 2-1, with a decisive goal scored at the last phase, in the 90+4 minute.
The final of the Romanian Cup will take place on Wednesday, May 14, on the “Francisc Neuman” stadium, in Arad.
