A 30-year-old woman died on Friday, April 25, 2025, in a serious road accident on the A1 Sibiu-Sebeș highway, near Răhău. The utility vehicle he was in has entered a parapet.

The Infotrafic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that on the A1 Sibiu-Deva highway, at kilometer 299, in the area of Sebeș, Alba county, a road accident occurred in which a utility vehicle and a truck were involved. The impact resulted in the death of a person.
The rescuers intervened with a special water and foam extinguishing vehicle, a unloading crew, a SMURD ambulance and a special for the Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival of the intervention forces at the place of the event, there were two people from whom a person incarcerated.

“The person was extracted from the utility vehicle by the military firefighters, but, unfortunately, this presented injuries incompatible with life”the ISU Alba Alex Crişan spokesman announced.
According to the Romanian Police, the road traffic is restricted on the band 2 of the Sibiu-Sebeș driving direction, being formed the column of vehicles of about one kilometer, increasing.
