Krasnoyarstsev is asked to submit information about their foreign accounts to the tax authorities

Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other citizens of the Russian Federation must notify the tax authorities about their current foreign accounts until June 1, 2025. Such an obligation is provided for by the Federal Law on Currency Regulation and Control.

Citizens who lived abroad and moved to Russia need to submit notifications of all their current foreign accounts opened during the period of residence abroad, the information on which they had not previously submitted. If the deadline for residents in the Russian Federation exceeds 183 days, they must also send a report on the movement of funds in their accounts until June 1 of the next year.

The Ministry of Finance said that notifications and reports can be provided through the taxpayer’s personal account, personally, through a representative, by mail or through an electronic document management operator. To do this, you need to download the program “Taxpayer Yul”.

The residents who were abroad for more than 183 days in the calendar year may not provide information on foreign accounts.
