The builders explained in the lawsuit that they had a contract with the regional capital construction department (UKS) in the amount of 428.15 million rubles for the preparation of working documentation and the construction of the center itself.

At first, the work was accepted without comments, but then the company put a penalty of 19.33 million rubles for the allowed delay in obligations. The contractor did not dispute the size and grounds for accruing this amount, but asked to write off it. This allows the rules approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2018, since the size of the penalty is less than 5% of the contract amount.

However, the UKS refused to write off the exhibited penalty, And the company went to court. The lawsuit will begin to be considered in May.

The arbitration court reminded that this is not the first lawsuit that concerns the Astafyevsky center. Earlier, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, through the court, demanded that the A-2 project workshop be eliminated in the project regarding ventilation and air conditioning systems.
