Craiova University has prevailed with 2-0 in the derby with Dinamo. The dispute mattered for the 5th stage in the play-off of the Romanian Superligion. The scorer of the first goal, Stefan Baiaram (22 years old), was fully satisfied with the evolution of his band and is of the opinion that Victoria is deserved among the Oltenians.

Craiova took advantage of the many absences of the “dogs”, and respected its favorite team status. The goals of Baiaram (53) and Mitriță (63) climbed the Oltenians to the second place in the play-off of the superligation of Romania.

Craiova approached three points of FCSB

The hopes of a title for Craiova resulted after the success with Dinamo. Mirel Rădoi's band climbed the second place in the play-off of the Romanian Superligion, 3 lengths away from the FCSB leader.

For the Oltenians it was the third victory in five Superliga matches. Craiova started very well in the first two stages, with victory at home to the detriment of the University of Cluj (3-0), and with a success in Giulești, 2-1, with Rapid.

There followed a defeat with CFR Cluj, on the move, 0-2, and after an equal, at home, 0-0, with FCSB. The next stage, the one that will start the return, Craiova will travel to Cluj, to confront with the University, on Saturday, April 26, from 20:00.
