Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that Israel “has no other option” than to continue the fight in Gaza. He claimed that he would not conclude the war before destroying Hamas and released the hostages, according to News.ro.

Netanyahu also reiterated his commitment to ensure that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.

In his statement, he said that Hamas rejected Israel's last proposal to release half of the hostages in exchange for a continuous armistice.

The prime minister is under increasing pressure in the country, both from the families of the hostages, but also from the Israeli soldiers reservists and pensioners who question the continuation of the war.

The Israeli army killed nearly 30 Palestinians in several hours

His statements came after over 90 people died in Gaza in 48 hours. On Saturday morning, at least 27 people, most children were killed by the Israeli bombing on the Gaza strip.

The Israeli army has again bombed the shelters and tents where hundreds of thousands of displaced people are housed. According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, several inhabitants of Gaza were killed after their tent was bombarded west of the city.

Since Israel interrupted the cessation of fire more than a month ago, almost 420,000 people have been forced into the “Humanitarian” Mawasi, who was already overcrowded with reliable people.

Asked by Efe why the Mawasi area continues to be bombarded, a spokesman for the Israeli army said that “it is not defined as a safety area and that the exhaust areas” depending on their operations.

In the north of the enclave, at Beit Lahia, the Israeli forces attacked a group of citizens, killing four of them.
