In Bogotol, a married couple called a newborn boy an unusual Greek name.

As the registry office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said in the agency, Maria and Zakir gave the firstborn the name Mikael. It comes from the Hebrew “Michael” and has the meaning “who is like God.” In the Greek tradition, the name is translated as “similar to God” or “angel”.

The department noted that the meaning of the name is associated with force, wisdom and patronage.

We will remind, earlier we wrote that the Russian named his son in honor of the peninsula.
