In Kansk, the husband of a woman who cut her children with an ax was detained on suspicion of beating her son. This was reported in the investigation.

According to law enforcement officers, from the summer of 2018 to April 2025, a man systematically beat his 7-year-old child. It was established that the boy at 3 years old had a broken nose. In addition, in 2024, he appeared several times at a school with bruises and abrasions on his body. Now the boy is in social institutions, he is provided with medical and psychological assistance.

Investigators opened a criminal case under paragraph “G” of part 2 of Art. 117 of the Criminal Code (torture). At the time of the detention, the man was at home, now the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided.

At the same time, the investigation of the criminal case on the grounds of the corpus delicti under Part 3 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence) in relation to the senior inspector for minors of the Kansky police department. The authorities believe that the tragedy with the death of children in the family could occur due to her inaction.

We will remind, earlier, a criminal case on the fact of murder with particular cruelty was opened against a large mother from Kansk. During the interrogation, she told law enforcement officers that she strangled her 4-year-old daughter, and chopped two sons at the age of 7 months and 8 years old.
