In Belize, an American with a knife tried to hide a plane with passengers, one of them shot him

The plane was captured about 8.30 local time () and “circled in random directions” for two hours, while the drama was “unfolding on board,” the agency writes.

In total, on the plane, which was heading from Korsal (a city near Garnitsa with Mexico) to San Pedro (the city popular among tourists), there were two crew members and 14 passengers.

The passenger tried to steal the board, whom Beliza's police identified as Akinel Taylor from the USA, who was supposedly a veteran of the American army.

The Associated Press described what was happening on an airplane after trying to theft: Taylor inflicted stab wounds with two passengers and pilot, but one of the wounded passengers from the personal weapons, which has permission, shot the attacker.

After that, the board landed in Ladyville near the capital of the country of the city of Beliz. Before landing, the plane was accompanied by a police helicopter.

One of the wounded passengers is in critical condition, he has a wound in the back and a puncture of the lungs.

A shooter who shot his weapons to the police.

The Beliza police claims that the hijacker wanted him to be taken out of Beliz, “possibly to Mexico,” and at some point demanded a landing for refueling.

The US Embassy in Belize says that Taylor insisted that he be delivered to the United States, but why – American diplomats do not know.

Commenting on the incident with his plane, Tropic Air Belize said that the flight “faced a serious and unprecedented emergency in flight”, but “the pilot acted with extraordinary courage and calm, directing the plane to safe landing,” and “his actions were nothing more than heroism.”

“Security is and remains our main priority. Our pilots are undergoing strict training in order to effectively and effectively respond to any situation, and today we stop to recognize the courage, skill and leadership that returned our plane home intact and safe,” the release said.
