FIFA is in “Advanced negotiations” with certain locations in Las Vegas in order to host lots for the 2026 World Championship. The capital Washington DC is taken, if it would be easier to participate in US President Donald Trump.
Between June 11 and July 19, 2026, the US, Canada and Mexico will host the next edition of the World Football Championship.
It will be a return of the main international football competition on the American land after 32 years.
The draw for the World Cup '94, the World Championship edition at which the Romanian national obtained the best result in history, the qualification in the quarter's phase, was hosted by the Convention Center in Las Vegas.
