Just one week after Max Verstappen's impressive victory in Japanthe Red Bull team has registered one of the weakest races in recent years. Max Verstappen (27 years old) and his teammate Yuki Tsunoda (24 years old) finished in places 6, respectively 9, in the Bahrain race.
Oscar Piastri won the Bahrain Grand Prize. The performance of the “bulls” was described as “unacceptable” by their consultant Helmut Marko. The Austrian told the press that Red Bull is currently the fourth fastest team, behind McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari, and insisted that the team find better settings before introducing the planned improvements for the next races.

Helmut Marko: “Both pilots have lost precious time for speakers”
Helmut Marko said that Red Bull is currently the fourth fastest team, behind McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari, and insisted that the team find better settings before introducing the planned improvements.
He also drew attention to stops at disastrous speakers, which greatly made Vertappen's race and Tsunoda in Bahrain. Both pilots lost precious time for speakers after the technician's traffic light system, the red light remaining lit even after the mechanics had finished their job.

“We need to find a better car performance as soon as possible. We need to improve our standards. If the car is not the fastest and the speaker stops do not go well, it is unacceptable.
I think we will have to prepare better and find better settings for the car we have. In the short term, we cannot have new components. This result is very alarming. We know that at this moment we are not competitive. In the following races, we are waiting for new components, we hope that they will improve our performance. We will come back, I hope to be stronger during European races, “said the Austrian, according to Sportal.bg.
Our rhythm was obviously very weak, but I did not expect things to take place. Basically, everything that could go wrong, went wrong. I think the position I finished today is the maximum I could get.
The lack of balance of the car is very obvious on this circuit. And when you do not have a good balance here and the car behaves worse with the tires compared to others, everything becomes much more difficult.
Somehow This year our car works worse with new tires. That made my race hard, because last year we did not do evil here. Everyone else has improved their performance, and I have the feeling that our weekend here, last year, was weaker.
