“After the increase in rotation at the turn of the year, which was partly associated with seasonal changes on the labor market, the place of employment has recently changed the 19 % of respondents, which means a result below 10 -year -old.

“An important reason for these decisions to change jobs is the offer of employers in the field of professional development,” he added.

The percentage of employees who changed the employer in the last 6 months is 19 percent. (compared to 20 percent of the quarter earlier), and those who changed their position in the company during this period reach 18 percent. (compared to 17 percent earlier).

The study shows that the search for new employment in the first quarter of 2025 took an average of 3.3 months against the 3.2 month quarter earlier.

“The fact that employees' rotation is not high, not so much may be due to the fact that employees do not want to change the place of employment. The desires are – this is indicated by the declarations of job search. The stable rotation can still be more influenced by the availability of job offers, as well as the conditions offered in them, and the conditions are clearly extended from mid -2022. a month ” – it was written in the report.

The study shows that almost half of the employees (47 percent) do not actively look for work, but look around for offers (compared to 49 percent of the quarter earlier), 41 percent. He is not looking for work at all (vs 43 percent earlier), and 12 percent – actively looking for employment (compared to 8 percent in the previous quarter).

“The percentage of people who actively seek a job or look for the possibilities of change beats further records. On the one hand, this is good news for companies looking for employees with appropriate competences and experience. On the other hand, this is a signal that employees are growing in the current terms of employment and atmosphere in the team.

The authors of the report indicate that the percentage of employees satisfied with their work is systematically falling.

“71 percent of respondents declare satisfaction with their current work – from several editions of the study we are observing a systematic decrease in this factor. In 2023, it reached 75 percent. Especially alarming data appears in the case of trade employees and engineers. In both these groups, the percentage of people who do not seek work is extremely high in both groups, but they look at professional possibilities.”

The survey of the labor market monitor is carried out among people working at least 24 hours a week, employed under an employment contract, civil law contracts, self-employed (if they have a permanent agreement for the provision of services to one company) at the age of 18-64.

The study was conducted on February 21 – March 2, 2025, a group of 1,000 respondents took part in it. (PAP Biznes)
