Morskie Oko without the suffering of horses. Electric revolution in Podhale

Although the Morskie Oko has been located in the heart of the Tatra Mountains for decades, he has remained unquestionable and crowded mountain sanctuary for women and Poles, The popular form of travel to this place raises more and more controversy and opposition. The effort and suffering of horses pulling traditional highlander cars – Fasięgi, as well as cases of their deaths, shocked the public opinion, which began to demand restrictions in the local tradition.
At the end of February this year. A breakthrough was announced-in accordance with the agreement of carriers, local governments, the Tatra National Park as well as the minister of the climate and environment of Paulina Hennig-Kloski, horses will be able to cover only 2.5 km of route from Palenica Białczańska to Wodogrzmotów Mickiewicza, further tourists will carry electric buses.

Between meleks and buses
Couldn't proud animals be released from this shorter episode? Innovation AG is convinced by Zgorzelecka, which at the end of March announced the start of electrical cars at the entrepreneurship incubator at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Zielona Góra.
-The e-Fass will go to Morskie Oko, but we also have orders from other places from Poland and a potential client from abroad. This is a novelty on the electromobility market; A specialized tourist product that fills the gap between meleks and buses – Albert Gryszczuk, president of Innovation AG and the National Chamber of Energy Clusters and renewable energy sources said at a press conference.
Production in an incubator focused on electromobility is also to stimulate cooperation with scientific staff and the education of subsequent engineers and employees for the industry. – We have already worked with the Zielona Góra University of Technology, whose graduates are well prepared for action in the field of modern technologies – added Gryszczuk.
One charge on twenty courses
Tomasz Drzał, representative of Innovation AG and managing director at the National Chamber of Energy and RES clusters, in an interview with Business Insider says that the idea of the e-Fassion was largely born as response to media reports about the heavy fate of Tatra horses.
– We contacted the National Park, the staroste and highlanders. The first tests showed that E-Fasiąg is doing very well on the road to Morskie Okoand one charge is enough for about twenty in both directions – he says.
He also points out that the vehicles made of wood and referring to local artistic traditions in the design are based on the proprietary Innovation AG platform, which the company uses in designed electric delivery vehicles.
– We have created the first platform in Poland and one of the few in the world, which will bear up to 3.5 tonnes of a van. The project has been developed for a long time, but now it can finally be used in practice. The e-flexe will therefore be an alternative to horse-drawn carts, but also a preview of the future production of our own e-Vanów-he continues to shine.
The company's intentions are to be conducive to the scientific and technological environment in Zielona Góra, access to the production line and the possibility of focusing around the project of qualified staff. As Albert Gryszczuk stated on social media, “The plan to build an electric car delivery factory in Poland is more real than ever“.
Albert Gryszczuk, president of Innovation AG, says that the e -flexion will fill the gap between two extreme types of electric vehicles – small meleks and large buses
The platform is flexible
The e-Fasios invented in Zgorzelec will arise on request, so Tomasz Drzał does not provide for the massage of their production.
– Eagle platform allows many possibilities; e-Fasts that will move over Morskie Oko will refer to the cultural legacy of Podhale, Others, however, may look different. The advantage of the platform is also its flexibility and the ability to adapt to various driving conditions – adds our interlocutor.
As he states, the mountain road defeated annually by hundreds of thousands of tourists is “quite a serious challenge for engineers”. – There is a large slope, pedestrian traffic and speed limit. The Eagle platform allows vehicles on various routes, hence the possibility of covering the road “in one go” twenty times ” – he justifies.
Electrics just in time for tourism
In the opinion, the specifics of tourist towns and the area around them are conducive to collective transport, which works in a fixed and planned structure, and even more so electric transport.
– Just look at Zakopane and the whole area on the Polish side of the Tatra Mountains. It is no accident that there are so many buses that run between specific points popular among tourists. The space itself makes it worth introducing ecological, convenient, and at the same time profitable means of transport for owners – argues the representative of Innovation AG.
As he says, the predictability of routes creates the right conditions for electric vehicles, which will ultimately remove their older, combustion counterparts from the market. At the same time, Tomasz Dresz is not afraid of possible deficits in charging infrastructure.
– The chargers needed today are usually organized as part of specific transport companies. It will be similar with tourism, which is today a show of our possibilities, By default, however, we want to conquer courier industry and logistic -he emphasizes, reminding about plans related to the expansion of e-Vanas.

Miners to the e-mobility industry?
The Zgorzelec vehicles, from e-flexions to professional commercers, are based on local technology, and the majority of domestic origin are most components that will be used for production. As for the location of the future E-Vanów factory, Tomasz Drzał says that the company is just finalizing the arrangements on this subject.
– Several possible places are at stake, but The favorite is the address in central Poland. However, more of the potential illegal of electromobility in our country can be found more, e.g. on Upper Silesiawhere the automotive industry was always strong – he explains.
Innovation AG is just choosing a place for the future e-Vanów factory
Asked about the possibility of entering Zgorzelec plans and ambitions in the transformation project of the nearby Turoszowski brown coal Basin, which in the coming years or decades will have to move away from the extraction and burning of the emission of the raw material, the shot corresponds to the affirmative.
– The greatest value of industrialized regions is the ethos of the work of their inhabitants. If many miners have been convinced in Silesia to work in the automotive industry and retrained them in this direction, this can also be done here. Miners and energy from the Turów complex as experienced employees could find themselves in electromobility, so related plans are therefore the most real – he says.
“Local authorities see the future in this”
Do electric vehicles actually have a future in servicing local tourist traffic? We asked this question to the Polish Chamber of Tourism representing the industry.
Katarzyna Turosieńska, a spokeswoman for the organization, replies that electrics are able to replace not only horse carts, but also traditional combustion cars. – A good example is the last resolution of the tender for the installation of charging stations in 23 Polish national parks. It can be seen that the authorities of these extremely interesting areas see the future in electric transport – the spokeswoman indicates. At the same time, he points out that “safe and skillful work with horses, in respect for their needs and possibilities, has long been inscribed in Polish tradition and customs.”
Among the potential areas of the use of e-mails, Turosieńska mentions the aforementioned national parks and nature reserves, as well as demanding peace and quiet spa zones or city centers. Elderly people, people with disabilities or families with young children indicate as key groups of potential users.
Refusing data on both horse and electric transport, they are not availablehowever, a spokeswoman for the Polish Chamber of Tourism sees the importance of local governments that could co -create a new transport offer. – It is important that local law keeps up with the changing world wise cooperation in the field of tourism will give everyone measurable benefits and will make tourists great comfort, because it is about them – he says.
