A 26 -year -old girl tried to hire a assassin on Tinder to kill her ex -boyfriend who is a policeman, according to prosecutors in New Jersey

A woman from New Jersey is accused of trying to hire an assassin on Tinder to kill her former boyfriend, a policeman from Philadelphia, and his 19 -year -old daughter, according to CNN.

26 -year -old Jaclyn Diiorio met with a person known on the Tinder meeting application, who was a police informant, according to a Document in the file obtained by CNN.

DIORIO had telephone calls and communicated through text messages with the person on Tinder before meeting face to face, it is shown in the quoted documents.

During these conversations, the young woman would have shared with the informant the desire to kill her ex -boyfriend, a 57 -year -old police officer, and the daughter.

The accused offered to the alleged assassin the amount of $ 12,000 for the two crimes, according to the documents in the file.

Diiorio was arrested last week in Gloucester Township, near Philadelphia, the office of Camden County said in a press release. It was detained after paying the informant $ 500 in cash, according to the investigation.

The authorities said that Diiorio had a bottle of pills with a distant label. The pills would have been alprazolam, a controlled substance used to treat anxiety and panic disorders.

Diiorio, from Runnemede, New Jersey, is accused of attempted first -degree murder, first -degree conspiracy and possession of third -degree controlled substances.

At a hearing on Friday, prosecutors said that Diiorio tried to make the assassination of the two and on other occasions, according to WPVI.

During the hearing, Judge Yolanda Rodriguez rejected a Diiorio's release request, stating that she should remain closed before her next emergence on June 11th.
