IT Holding T1 launched a leadership program for students of the Moscow Aviation Institute.
“A modern engineer is no longer enough to have good technical skills. Success in advanced sectors requires the ability to manage complex projects, effectively interact with the team, find non-standard solutions and productively dispose of their time, ”they are convinced of the T1 IT Holding.
At the first introductory lecture of the Leader in Engineering program for students of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) from T1, which was held in the main educational building of the MAI, the technical director of T1 integration T1 Alexei Izosimov and the Director of the Center for Industrial Automation of T1 Integration Alexander Shapovalov performed. Experts talked about the principles of the work of an engineer of the future and gave recommendations on how to set goals, plan a working day, arrange priorities, and thus pump personal efficiency.
Almost 100 students of the Institute No. 3 took part in the training-both undergraduates and 3-4 bachelor's courses at the relevant IHs: “Informatics and computer technology” and “Software engineering”.
“Deep technical knowledge is the foundation of any specialty, but in order to implement truly big projects, a modern engineer needs to have strong flexible skills and be able to quickly adapt to changes. At the first meeting, we discussed how to move from common wishes to measurable goals and consciously manage our resources – time, energy, attention. This is the base that allows the leader not only to respond to relevant calls, but to receive a visible result, ”said Alexei Izosimov, technical director of T1 integration T1.
According to the company, at the beginning the participants laid the foundation of personal efficiency, having mastered the basic principles of time management and self-organization. In the following classes, they will deepen the skills of organizing work, projecting and managing teams, inseparable from engineering practice.
The launch of the “Leader in Engineering” program was a new step in the framework of the strategic partnership of T1 and the MAI, which is aimed at training highly qualified personnel for the IT industry. Early partners launched a joint master program in the direction of “Big Data and Machine Training”.
