The analysts of the Central Bank interviewed about two thousand Russian investors and made an average portrait. They shared the results on the official website of the regulator.

It turned out that the majority are men (57 % of respondents) at the age of 31-honor half 46 % of those responsible can “buy large household appliances, but could not buy a car.” Those who “can afford almost everything” are only 9 %.
The most common tool used by investors are shares of Russian companies. Behind them, by a noticeable margin, are Russian government bonds. Half of the respondents also invest in non -financial assets (precious metals, real estate) – among them there are many youth and newcomers.
According to the regulator, 66 % of respondents have an average literacy, only 29 % – high, 5 % showed low level. 37 % of respondents receive knowledge about investments from telegram channels and social networks. Also, acquaintances and bloggers (30 % and 29 %) affect investment decisions.
The vast majority of investors are simultaneously ready to lose up to a quarter of invested funds. More risky strategies are characteristic of 11 % of the study participants.
