Today Rozoom Press marks five years of activity: an international media platform that opens its doors to a variety of cultural, social and for the community of Romanians everywhere.
It's o initiative unique in the diasporafed exclusively by volunteering, highlights by authenticity the passion for topical topics, art, traditions and discussions that reflect the spirit and daily realities of the Romanian (and not only) public.
Rozoom Press was established during the pandemic, in April 2020, by 6 Romanian journalists from Italy, France, Spain and UK. The platform today has over 6200 followers on Facebook. The shows, organized on the zoom and transmitted live on Facebook, are interactive and have an outreach of thousands of spectators, from all over the world. We are pleased to promote the Romanian excellence in the diaspora, through collaborations with Romanian organizations and networks throughout the world.
In 2025, the ROZOOM PRESS team belongs to: Ciprian Apetreiwriter, journalist, professor of philosophy, who taught in Romania and Franceyour. He is the author of a successful anthology dedicated to the stories of Romanians in the Diaspora. Cipriani It brings a creative vision, initiating shows that highlight the cultural and artistic manifestations and is the engine of programs that reflect the creative dynamism of the communities and emphasize the importance of the traditions reinterpreted through the contemporary perspective.
Miruna Căjvăneanujournalist, researcher of migration phenomena, lives in Italy Since 1999 and has carried out projects to encourage the social participation of the Romanians from the Peninsula. He coordinated the statistical volume “Half roots, 30 years of Romanian immigration in Italy” (Idos Publishing House, Rome, 2021). Miruna stands out by the ability to interpret and analyze social phenomena, transforming each show on an opportunity for deep and accessible dialogue. His contributions include the series of educational shows on important topics: the fiscal section, the legal section, the financial education section, the culinary education.
Gelu Vlașinwriter, journalist, who decided to return to the country after 20 years of life as a migrant in Spain. Part of the activity is dedicated to the cultural promotion of the Romanian region where it lives, from Bistrița county. He founded and supported major educational projects carried out in schools in Spain and Romania. shave completes the team by its constant involvement in the elaboration of the program formats focused on cultural problems and beyond. His energy and passion contribute to the creation of programs that emphasize authenticity and open dialogue, inviting the public, even the youngest, to discover their own cultural identity.
MISSION and shows
The goal of the informal platform is a clear one: We believe that there is a need for information that goes beyond the alarmist titles, the reality presented distorted.
Directly from the source. Without labels. Without prejudices. With the desire to ask the correct questions and seek the answers. Starting from our lives, the Romanians from the diaspora, including those who returned home.
In almost 5 years of activity, they were organized over 150 live debates, exclusive interviews, reports and interactive informative shows. I had Over 100 brand guestsincluding members of the Government, MEPs, artists, university professors, successful entrepreneurs, representatives of the associative environment. Most guests are from the diaspora, over 15 countries.
The topics addressed: the rights of Romanians from the diaspora, culture, civic participation, education, presentation of successful Romanians, etc. Many of our shows have had a record number of views and comments (eg: the right to pension show, 86,000 people).
Partnerships
Rozoom Press has prestigious active partnerships, in cultural programs, with The Embassy of Romania in Italy, associations and organizations in Romania, Italy, France, Greece. In the first year, he benefited from the support of Europe Direct Botosani.
The value of volunteering and integrity
A defining aspect of the ROZOOOM PRESS is that the entire activity is based on volunteering. Each material and each show are the result of tireless work and passion for authentic information, demonstrating that personal dedication and involvement can overcome financial and institutional barriers. This organizing model not only brings a note of originality but contributes to the creation of a Free and open information spacein which the public is invited to participate and identify with the values presented. Looking at the future
Five years ago, the team formed by Ciprian Apetrei, Miruna Cajvaneanu and Gelu Vlasin look optimism to new projects and collaborations. Development plans include the extension of thematic range, intensifying the dialogue with the community and exploring innovative formats that remain relevant and adapted to the new socio-cultural challenges.
The five -year anniversary of ROZOOM Press is not only a holiday of past achievements, but also a firm commitment to the future. Through shows that give a voice to culture and social life, the platform shows that volunteering and passion for truth can build bridges between generations, strengthening the values of a society that is constantly reinventing.
In the future, we want to participate in large projects and collaboration with other successful entities in the Diaspora. We are open to a new stage, to an organic growth, through which we add value and visibility to our activities.
