Rescuers removed 29 fishermen from the Krasnoyarsk reservoir from the Krasnoyarsk reservoir

On Saturday, the Khakass rescuers and their Krasnoyarsk colleagues took 29 fishermen from the ice.

Last Saturday, April 5, despite the warnings about the storm, the fishermen went to the ice of the reservoir. Closer to dinner, the wind intensified, he began to literally tear the ice field for pieces. As a result, rescuers began to receive calls with messages about the separation of ice floes.

To verify information and assistance to people for the reservoir, a group of employees of the South Siberian search and rescue detachment (YSPSO) of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, as well as their colleagues from the regional institution, left for the reservoir “Rescuer“. Both groups of rescuers used air cushion vessels “Khivus“.

“Search work took place in extremely dangerous conditions in a storm wind and a high wave. Rescuers of Yuspso managed to find and take 3 fishermen ashore, another 14 were evacuated from ice floes, nailed to the ground. 12 people removed the regional rescuers from the ice on their Khivus. But not everyone was lucky. According to the rescued, at least one person died before their eyes“, – They told the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in Khakassia.
