According to the director of the Department of Procurement Policy of Mo Gleb Kanevsky, last year the relevant agency “State Operator of the rear” acquired military shoes for more than 3.1 billion UAH.
In the updated technical specifications for sneakers, the optimal characteristics of new shoes were established, in particular:
- Appointment: for daily running and athletics exercises on sports grounds and in halls with a hard coating;
- Design: combined top made of textile materials for ventilation and artificial leather in high friction zones for improved wear resistance;
- Sole: made of polymeric materials with an improved shock -absorbing effect, has treads for increased adhesion and sliding reduction;
- Inner part: knitted lining that provides comfort and hygiene;
- foot fixation: anatomical shape of the backdrop for a stable position of the leg, soft insert in the heel and tongue for additional comfort;
- insole: from polymer material with amortization properties to reduce the load on the foot;
- lacing: reliable fixation for individual selection of landing;
- Dimensions: from 35 to 48;
- mass (42 size): no more than 310 g.
The Ministry of Defense reported that during the 2024th and the first quarter of the 2025th, the department approved 38 samples-etalones for objects for clothing. This is, in particular, about modular body armor, a ballistic helmet, special headphones, a protective ballistic mascot, special headphones, half-bots, a combat shirt, winter windbreaker jackets and pants, linen, etc.
MO also called on Ukrainian manufacturers to join the provision of Ukrainian military with modern equipment.
