The readiness of the farmers of the Siberian Federal District for spring field work was discussed at an operational meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The event was held under the chairmen of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Andrei Razin with the participation of the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Siberian Federal District Vadim Golovko, director of the Department of Planting, Mechanization, Chemistization and Protection of Plants of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Roman Nekrasov. Also among the participants are the heads of the agricultural management bodies of the Siberian regions and representatives of specialized services.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation drew the attention of participants to the tasks set by the President of the country – by 2030 to increase the production of agricultural products by 25 %. For this, it is necessary to increase the sown area, including by involving unused agricultural lands in the circulation. The deputy minister also emphasized the need to take all necessary measures to ensure fire safety.
The meeting participants discussed a number of important issues, including the implementation of the plan for bringing the means to support to manufacturers of vegetables and potatoes during the period of the sowing campaign. In addition, it was noted that preparations for spring work in the regions of the Siberian Federal District are regularly. Agrarians are fully provided with necessary material and technical resources. The acquisition of seed material, fertilizers and plant protection products is carried out according to the declared plans.
The Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Ilya Vasiliev spoke about the readiness of the region for spring field work:
“This year, the crops of all agricultural cultures will take 1.5 million hectares. The region is fully provided with seeds of grain, grain -combat crops and potatoes. More than 98 % is a support for rapeseed. The supply of the seed material of other crops continues. Ensuring the reserve of fuel and lubricants in enterprises is on schedule: in the first half of April, the shipment of summer diesel fuel will begin, and the main volumes of shipment are scheduled for April-May. The main types of agricultural machinery are ready at the region’s farms. ”
Up to 3.5 billion rubles of state support provides the region to agrarians, including 608.4 million rubles from the federal budget.
According to the minister, at the end of April, the sowing will begin in the southern territories of the region, massively farmers will enter the fields in the first decade of May. In the northern regions, sowing will begin in the second decade of May.
In the Siberian Federal District, about 12 % of grain and grain -combat crops, more than 29 % of flax fiber and 12 % of oilseed crops from all -Russian indicators are produced annually. According to preliminary data from the regions of the district, in 2025 the entire sown area is predicted at the level of 14.3 million hectares, which is 86.7 thousand hectares more than a year earlier. Including the area of buckwheat, oats and oilseeds.
At the end of the working meeting, the meeting participants visited the regional enterprises. One of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment in the region is Techkom LLC. The company implements the import substitution program – more than a thousand items of parts and spare parts are produced here. The company's products are in demand not only among regional agricultural producers, but also in other Russian regions. One of the successful projects is the joint development of the cultivator model with the Krasgau scientists, adapted for work in the soil-climatic conditions of Siberia. Soon this technique will appear on the fields of the region.
The issues of import substitution for farms not only of the region, but also the other regions of the Siberian Federal District successfully decide OJSC Poultry farm Zarya, where participants in the meeting also visited. In addition to breeding poultry and egg production, the company specializes in the production of agricultural crops of higher reproductions in demand among the farms of the Siberian regions. A comprehensive seed-breeding center is built here. In cooperation with scientific organizations in the center annually, environmental tests of new lines and varieties of grain and grain -combat crops, perennial herbs and spring raps are carried out.
