Doctors of the Federal Siberian Scientific and Clinical Center of the FMBA of Russia, together with rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies, took part in international exercises, the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said.

According to the legend of the exercises, the doctors of the center, together with rescuers, arrived in Democratic Republic Lyionchart (a non -existent state where the emergency supposedly occurred), where a powerful earthquake occurred. The destruction of buildings and blockages were simulated at the training ground.

Rescuers and doctors deployed the camp and conducted reconnaissance of the emergency zone. The main task was to search for the victims, their evacuation and medical care. Doctors worked out assistance to four victims with various fractures of the limbs, spine, burns of the IV degree and prolonged compression syndrome.

The exercises were conducted according to the Insarag methodology – a complex of international rescue standards. Such exercises are part of the mandatory re -certification, which detachments allowed to eliminate emergency situations abroad are held every five years. Today, only three Russian units are certified according to this program: “Centrospas” in Moscow, the search and rescue detachment of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory and the Siberian regional search and rescue detachment of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, which involves doctors of the Siberian Scientific and Clinical Center.
