As you can guess after the name of this city, Bath is famous for its Roman baths. These baths, from 70 RNE, belong to the best preserved Roman ruins in the world.
The city is full of beautiful Georgian architecture, which can be admired, among others at Royal Crescent – a semi -circular building consisting of 30 houses.
I also loved visiting Circus, a set of tenement houses placed in a circle. In my opinion, such places make Bath walks unique.
Book lovers can come here in September to the annual Jane Austen festival, when people change into era costumes, and the whole city goes back in time.
Traveling by train from London to Bath takes about 90 minutes, which makes this city An ideal target of one -day trip.

Mostar really surprised me because he didn't look like any other place where I was. The old bridge towering over the city of the 16th century, connecting two sides of the city, is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Brugia is a quiet direction, ideal for a one -day trip from nearby Paris or Brussels. In my opinion A visit to this medieval city is like a journey in time.
The best thing I did was a boat cruise on the channels, during which I admired architecture, flowing, among others by Minnewater Lake, also known as Lake of Love.
The city is ideal for couples who want to enjoy Belgian beer and chocolate.

Heidelberg impresses with views at every step. The city is home to the age -old castle and the oldest university in Germany.
I particularly liked the walks along Philosophenweg (also known as the path of philosophers), where the professors once sought loneliness and academic inspiration. The path was particularly beautiful in autumn when I visited the city.
We loved spending time in Heidelberg, full of great restaurants and atmospheric bars. In my opinion, Heidelberg perfectly combines modernity with maintaining historical charm.
Andora is a hidden gem in the Pyrenees Andorra

The city of Andorra is the capital of the country with the same name, located in the Pyrenees, between France and Spain.
Each restaurant in which we ate served dishes inspired by kitchens of neighboring countries. If you want to try authentic Andor's cuisine, go to Bord – a traditional home that used to serve agricultural purposes, and today houses charming restaurants.
Andorra La Vella is a great proposition for a one -day trip from Barcelona, but in my opinion the city deserves more than just a one -day visit.
