Cristian Tudor Popescu said on Tuesday on B1 TV, that in the attempt to reform the state Ilie Bolojan “are beaten” with those in PSD and PNL, who have a “Fătărnic discourse” and “they will only preserve their clientele, to preserve their sources of votes, sources”.

The newspaper criticized President Nicușor Dan, who says he “did not publicly support” Ilie Bolojan since he named the prime minister.

“Mr. Drulă from the USR had any press Mr. Nicușor Dan to support him in the most way, to display with him, to invite him to Cotroceni, to talk, to take after that for the elections from the Capital City Hall? I interpret otherwise, with a cold political analysis, than that Mr. Nicușor Dan named Mr. Bolojan Premier for Mr. Bolojan to collect all the blows to the figure, which he receives, to settle all these attacks as a result of what is happening, and Mr. Nicușor Dan to preserve his political capital, what he did.

“Bolojan is put in this stupid situation”

Cristian Tudor Popescu considers that the prime minister, who is also the leader of the Liberals, “beats” with those in PSD and PNL, who declare himself pro-reform, but “below I put all the soles and all the possible ones to stop what affects their clientele, affects their cheese, which is matured in years.”

“These two parties at the moment, behind a fading speech that they are for the reform, they will only preserve their clientele, to preserve their sources of votes, the sources of money, this is, and Bolojan is put in this stupid situation, to fight even those who should help it,” continued Cristian Tudor Popescu.

He believes that “in 35 years he has not made any politician from Romania what Bolojan is doing now.”

“I put my hopes only in this people (…). I would expect from those who refused to vote according to the” bribe for the nation last year “to understand what Bolojan wants to do, to understand that in 35 years he did not make any politician from Romania who now does Bolojan. Huge risks for him from a political point of view, personal and so on ”, concluded Cristian Tudor Popescu.
