The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announces new changes in the sanitary system, the main ones referring to the directing of patients from hospitals to primary medicine-doctors and specialized outpatients, to the evaluation of hospital management, the appointment of the heads of clinical sections and to the settlement made to family doctors. “The main changes refer to the reorientation of patients in the continuous hospitalization area in the area of ​​primary medicine and specialized ambulatory”, Alexandru Rogobete announced on Friday night at the end of the government meeting.

The evaluation of managers in hospitals and the appointments of the heads of clinical sections in public sanitary units is changed

He also mentioned changes regarding the evaluation of hospital managers, but also in the way in which the heads of the clinical sections of the public hospitals arrive.

“Another important change that, we believe, will increase the performance of the sanitary units refers to the rethinking of the performance and annual reassessment indicators for the managers of the sanitary units and, of course, the way of occupying the management positions for the clinical sections in the public hospitals. “Until 2027, 20% of the allocated budget will go to the payment per capita, ie the payment for those lists that represent a fixed amount, and 80% of the budget will be settled according to the number of services that the family doctors report in the CNAS system.”the minister said.

Rogobete explained that, by implementing the new measures, an economy of 3.1-3.2 billion lei is estimated in 2026, the money being redirected to health programs and other medical activities.

The methodology will take into account the share of salaries in a hospital, the number and complexity of the medical services, and depending on these indicators the salary fund will be established.
