At a meeting of the Commission on City Construction of the City Council of Krasnoyarsk, a deputy from the LDPR Ivan Petrov I demanded to start the design of the kindergarten in the Michurinsky microdistrict. According to the deputy, its inhabitants became victims of the marketing trick of the developer. When buying apartments, they counted on the construction of a kindergarten, which was depicted in advertising booklets. However, the beautiful picture turned out to be just a fantasy of a designer, originally aimed exclusively to an increase in sales.
Deputy Ivan Petrov said that he repeatedly sent appeals to the city administration, in which he justified the acute need to build a kindergarten in the microdistrict. However, according to the head of the department of urban planning, Sergei Shikunov, at the moment his construction is not planned.
“The whole generation of children who never got to the kindergarten in their area has managed to grow up,” Petrov said.

Deputy Petrov said that the adoption of the city budget would block if it does not contain funds for kindergarten in Michurinsky.
“I will not vote for a budget in which the interests of my voters are not taken into account,” he added.
In addition, the deputy urged the commission to strictly control the developers so that they comply with new standards that require the integrated development of microdistricts along with social facilities.
The position of the young politician was supported by the Krasnoyarsk political scientist, the founder of the Foundation for “Support and Development of Society” Igor Sorokin. In his opinion, while exercising deputy control, Petrov is trying to bring real development in accordance with the concept of integrated development of territories and the interests of residents.
“Without a reasonable approach to urban planning, the development of the territory turns into a chaotic development that worsens the quality of people's life. Buyers of housing in Michurinsky, who were guided by the promises of the developer, were actually deceived. Petrov’s deputy intervention is aimed at restoring the balance of interests of residents and developer, ”the expert concluded.
Recall back in 2023, Krasnoyarsk kindergartens were crowded for more than 2 thousand children, and the line in preschool institutions totaled almost 8 thousand names. The city prosecutor even had to go to court in order to oblige the mayor's office to create 1325 additional places for children from 1.5 to 7 years in four years. Half of the indicated deadline has already passed.
