Marius Șumudică explained that, at the signing of the contract with Rapid, he did not verify the clauses, being extremely eager to reach the club. Later, he discovered that the agreement includes a confidentiality clause by which he is not allowed to talk about the club for two years and provides a consistent fine, otherwise.

The former technician from Giulești stressed that he has nothing to criticize about the Rapid and that they have behaved civilized, stating that he prefers to respect the contract than to risk the payment of the fine. He also stated that, although he is used to talking freely and criticizing when appropriate, in the current situation he has no reason to comment on the club or the people who work there.

I have a confidentiality agreement with Rapid. I signed the contract with my eyes closed. I wanted to get to Rapid and I didn't even look. When I read it later, I saw that there is a pretty stinging fine if I'm talking about what is happening at Rapid. Than to give money, I prefer to see my job.

The clause is more than 50,000 euros, and the agreement is for two years, there are two years in which I cannot speak. Mucles at home, but I have nothing to talk about. I have never lost any process; I always had lawyers, but it was the first time in my career as a coach when I signed a contract with my eyes closed, it didn't interest me! ”Said Marius Șumudică, according to Fanatik.

Marius Șumudică was A1 in Giulești between 20.08.2024, after the departure of Neil Lennon, until the end of the season. He missed the main objective: the qualification in the European Cups: Rapid finished 5 in the superlig, missing the Romanian Cup. He prepared Rapid for 38 matches, recording an average of 1.55 points / match.

So much I wanted to get to Rapid. Then, when I read, I crossed. That is, I take the cross further, I have nothing to criticize. How much “Dilimache” I am, I would talk and pay for the money, only I have nothing to say about the Rapid at the moment.

They behaved civilized. I wasn't interested in what I signed. I am not allowed to bring the image damage to the Rapid. 100,000 euros are 100,000 euros, but I have nothing to say about Rapid and those who are there.
