Director and producer Yuri Moroz died of pancreatic cancer at 69 years of life. According to Mash, shortly before his death, the doctors assigned him a palliative status.
He fought with oncology since 2023. Over his life, he shot more than 20 films and series, including Kamenskaya, Karamazov brothers, Lunatici, as well as Wolfhound from the Gray Dogs.
Since 2003 he was married to actress Victoria Isakova. Frost has a daughter from his first marriage – artist Daria Moroz.
