It is speculated, among others, that it is about freezing the current lines of the front. Among the possible scenarios is also listed by the suspension of weapons in exchange for the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Lugansk and Donetsk region. For these suggestions, the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelanski replied that Ukraine “would not give his own land to the Russian occupier.”

The Prime Minister noted that it is crucial for Russia to know that the West will not accept the Russian conditions based on the annexation of part of Ukraine's territories. – We are also of the opinion that decisions about this possible exchange of territories (…) and other peace conditions must be agreed with the participation of Ukraine – he said, assessing that for now the proposal looks like Putin's offer: “What Russia has, it has what she did, will not give it up, and Ukraine should agree with it.”

Europe's joint statement on Ukraine
In connection with the planned conversation of Trump -Putin, the leaders of France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Finland, Poland and the chairwoman of the EC Ursula von der Leyen issued a joint statement. They emphasized in it that the road to peace in Ukraine “could not be marked without the participation of the state interested.” “We remain faithful to the principle that international borders cannot be changed by force. The current contact line should be a starting point for negotiations,” it was written.
It has also been added that “a possible diplomatic solution must protect vital interests related to the safety of Ukraine and Europe.” Among them, the need for “solid and reliable security guarantees that will enable Ukraine to effectively defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

His goal was to bring Ukraine's positions as well as European countries and the USA regarding war.
