Today, August 11, students who did not pass the BAC 2025 exam or have not presented at all the tests in June have a new chance. The samples written at the second session of the BAC 2025 exam, August, started with Romanian language and literature. On Tuesday, the BAC 2025 exam continues with the compulsory profile, mathematics or history.
- Hotnews will soon publish the subjects received by the students. The Ministry of Education will publish, according to the procedure, the topics and correction scales in Romanian, around 3 pm, on the dedicated site.
In this session there were over 30,200 high school graduates, according to the data of the Ministry of Education. Over 18,200 are from the current promotion, and about 12,000 are from previous promotions.
The exam started at 9:00, and the students had three hours to solve the topics.
The structure of the subjects included a text at first sight plus understanding questions, a composition on a given theme and an essay about a literary text studied in high school. The candidates received differentiated topics, depending on the profile (real or human).

In the humanistic and pedagogical profiles, the extracted version was the number 7.
On the subject of IB, the candidates had to argue if the appearance of a person can influence his success, starting from a fragment of the “Getice” Father by Grigore Băjenaru. In the second subject, the requirement concerned the role of the author's notations in a dramatic text.
In the third subject, the students had to write an essay of at least 400 words in which to analyze the relationship between two characters from a studied narrative text, belonging to Ion Creangă or Ioan Slavici.
Subjects BAC ROMANIA 2025, real profile, June session
In subject I, the supporting text was a fragment from the “Geticei” Father by Grigore Băjenaru, and on the subject II the candidates had to analyze the role of the author in a dramatic text.
At the third subject, the requirement was the drafting of an essay of at least 400 words in which the features of a character from a studied narrative text, from Ion Creangă or Ioan Slavici, were presented. Specifically, the students were able to opt, for example, for the characterization of Harap Alb from the cult fairy tale “The story of Harap Alb” or Ghiță from the novel “Moara with luck”.

In order to pass the 2025 baccalaureate exam, the August session, the students must obtain at least grade 5 at each written test and have a general average of at least 6.
At the first session of the baccalaureate examination the percentage of promotion is 76.5% after resolving the appeals. After resolving the appeals, the success rate increased by 2.2%, from 74.3% to 76.5%, in all promotions, compared to 78.2% in the June-July session 2024.
