“Washington and the Vatican”. Nawrocki plans to travel abroad

President Karol Nawrocki said on Friday on Telewizja Republika that at the very beginning of his presidency he would like to visit Washington, as well as the Vatican and the grave of St. John Paul II. He added that the process of visiting the capitals of other countries will soon start.

The president was asked what countries, as the President of the Republic of Poland, would like to visit first.

– At the very beginning I want to visit Washington and the United States. I think that soon we will be able to say a little more about this visit and this meeting – said Nawrocki.

He also emphasized that, according to his announcements from the election campaign, “symbolically” would like to visit the Vatican and the grave of St. John Paul II.

– Of course, meetings with our partners in the region, with the Baltic States, and Scandinavian countries will also come. I will also visit Western Europe – said the president. – I think the whole process of visiting the capital's capitals will start soon – he added. (PAP)
