The history of Marwit began in 1993 in Toruń, when the 20-year-old founder of the company invested 2,000. PLN in the production of unpasteurized juices. He was one of the first in Poland who saw the potential in fresh, one -day products.
Thanks to the innovative approach and consistent work, the company quickly gained consumer trust and became a pioneer of this category on the Polish market.

However, the company was not limited to juices – its offer also included salads and smoothies, produced at a modern plant in Złejwsi Wielka. The brand's products went not only to Polish tables, but also to foreign markets, including Canada, the USA, Sweden, France or Germany.

Everything changed in 2020, when the Covid-19 Pandemia hit many industries. For Marwit, the effects were particularly severe. Distiles in supply chains, trade restrictions and a decrease in demand for fresh products meant that the company was in serious financial trouble. The production has been suspended and the debts began to grow.
Already in 2020, the company's debt amounted to PLN 12 million. Despite the sanation actions, the enterprise could not be saved. In 2021, Marwit officially declared bankruptcy.
The process of liquidation of the company's assets began after the declaration of bankruptcy. Machines, equipment and real estate came for sale, which for years were the heart of Marwit's activity.
Marwit sells property
In 2025, two key properties were put up for the auction in Złejwsi Wielka. The minimum price of the first of them amounted to PLN 4.47 million net, while the second was valued at PLN 23.73 million net. Offers could be submitted by the end of July 2025.
The plant in Złejwsi Wielka, being one of the most modern in the region, for years was a place where production was developed and new products were introduced. Today, its sale symbolizes the end of the company's activity, which for decades was synonymous with quality on the Polish food market.
