The Champions League is getting closer to the unique group's phase. Romania lost its only representative, on FCSB, which was eliminated in the second preliminary round by Shkendija, the representative of Northern Macedonia, with a general score of 1-3.

What does the Champions League Play-off matches look

Seven matches will be played in the play-off, 5 on the champion route and two on the non-champions route.

  • FC Basel (Switzerland) – Malmo (Sweden) / FC Copenhagen (Denmark)

The only Romanian footballer involved will be Vlad Dragomir, Pafos's midfielder.

The 29 teams who obtained the ticket to the league without playing in the preliminaries are:
