David Popovici will last last for this edition of the World Natation Championships starting at 2:31 pm. He will try to win the second gold medal at the Singapore competition, after the one from 200m free.
As in previous races, David Popovici will be seen on TVR 1 and TVR Sport. The Romanian television has acquired the rights for the World Natation Championships. The competition was transmitted entirely on the SE channel, and David Popovici's races could also be watched on TVR 1.

David Popovici qualified in the final of 100m free with the time of 46.84s obtained in the semifinals. The Romanian had the second best time in the semifinals, after Jack Alexy, who swam in 46.81s.
David Popovici also has a world title taken at 100m free, in 2022, in Budapest.
The World Record at 100m Liber belongs to Pan Zhanle, who concluded in 46.40s the final of 100m free at the Paris Olympics.
I'm sure Jack Alexy and I hope it will be the fastest final in history. We hope to have some times better than now.
I slept a few hours, because I had to wake up early for the sample, but it was some quality hours, say. If it was a final, I would have accelerated louder, in the sense that I would have ambitious. But I will give the clear answer to the final.
