New evidence appeared in the file in which Călin Georgescu was placed under judicial control for several accusations, the most serious being that of notifying actions against the constitutional order.

According to Antena 3 CNN sources, Georgescu will be heard again and new computer searches will take place in the file in which he is investigated.

Key witnesses in the file also are to be called for hearings.

The investigations in the file in which Călin Georgescu was under charge for six crimes, including notifying actions against the constitutional order, did not end, and the measure of judicial control is about to expire. It remains to be seen if after the new hearings, the measure will be extended or replaced with another.

Călin Georgescu is obliged not to leave the country

For the time being, Călin Georgescu is obliged by judicial control not to leave the country, to inform about the change of house, not to create/use accounts on the online social platforms on which content of legionary, fascist, racist, xenophob, etc. is posted.

It must also be presented to the police body designated by IPJ Ilfov, which will establish the surveillance program. Last but not least, he must be presented to the criminal prosecution body and the judge of rights and freedoms, to the preliminary chamber judge whenever he is called; not to hold them not to wear a weapon.

From the ordinance for the disposition of judicial control against Călin Georgescu, it appears, among others, that he would have joined a non -election organization created by Craiovean Marian Motocu – the leader of the non -elegance group Movement 41 for Romania – who was to create a group to commit violence on the political parties, to the foreign parties.

What accusations are brought to Călin Georgescu

Here are the accusations that the prosecutors of Călin Georgescu bring:

– instigation of actions against the constitutional order, in tempted form, prev. of art.47 CP rap. at art.32 CP RAP. at art.397 paragraph 2 CP

– Communication of false information, prev. of art.404 CP

– false in statements in continuous form, prev. of art.326 para. 1 CP with applic. Art.35 paragraph 1 CP (regarding the sources of financing of the election campaign and wealth statements)

– initiation or establishment of an organization of a fascist, racist or xenophobic character, accession or support, in any form, of such a group, prev. of art. 3 paragraph 1 of GEO 31/2002

– the promotion, in public, of the cult of persons guilty of committing genocide offenses against humanity and war crimes, as well as the act of promoting, in public, ideas, conceptions or fascist, legionary, racist or xenophobic, prev. of art. 5 of GEO 31/2002

– the initiation or establishment of an anti -Semitic organization, the accession or support, in any form, of such an organization, prev. of art. 6 paragraph 1 of Law 157/2018 ”the General Prosecutor's Office said.
