In such weather, staying on the trails can be dangerous due to the rapid rise of streams, landslides, mud and limited visibility.
During the storm, it is particularly dangerous to be on the ridges, on trails equipped with artificial facilities, such as chains or buckles, and in the area of watercourses. In the Tatra Mountains in the past week there was a very high tourist traffic. Queues waiting to the top of the top were formed, among others In front of the Giewont peak dome, as well as in Rysy and in the Orla Percia region. (PAP)
