Charles Leclerc, Ferrari Pilot, commented on the important change brought by the Scoderia for the Belgian race weekend: a new rear suspension. Another topic approached by Monegascus was the competition with Lewis Hamilton, this year's driver's pilot.
Leclerc and Hamilton had the opportunity to test the new suspension during the day of filming that Ferrari spent on the Mugello circuit last week. “I did not feel a major change in the behavior of the car and I will not comment more about how to operate the suspension. There are things that remain internal and it would be stupid from us to talk publicly. We will find out more on the track.
I don't think there will be a change in the way we adjust the car. I can find confidence if we need to change the settings. So, if I need confidence I will look for it. But for now, I prefer to look for better performance than confidence.
This philosophy does not always bear fruit, as it happened in Silverstone, where we had great ud difficulties. I know this is the risk of using extreme settings. I don't think the situation will improve with the new suspension because the settings will remain similar. But I am pleased to follow this direction ”, explained Leclerc, quoted by Sportal.bg.

Also before the race on Spa-Francorchamps, Leclerc said he was irrelevant if he is faster than his colleague, Lewis Hamilton, since Ferrari has no real chances of victory.
