The Minister of French culture will be tried to court. She is accused of trading in influence


Dati is accused of “passive corruption and trade in influence by a person exercising a elected public office in an international organization (in this case in the European Parliament)” – he said without giving his name (in accordance with the standard practice regarding the reporting of certain criminal matters) in a statement an official from the Ministry of Justice.

Tuesday's advertisement took place at a crucial moment for Dati. Ghosn has lived in Lebanon since the escape from home custody in Japan in 2019, where he was accused of financial abuse. He has Lebanese and French citizenship.
The arrest warrant of Ghosno in connection with this case was issued by the French justice system in 2023, but Lebanon has long been refusing to extract its citizens.
