The interrogation and voting by the Commission for the candidate is the last condition that the candidate for the ambassador must meet. Only after yesterday's vote can Rose can come to Poland to submit letters to the President of the Republic of Poland in Warsaw and formally take the position.

I have the honor to present my friend to the state, a conservative with principles and a steadfast supporter of the “America primarily” policy and the national interests of the United States abroad, Mr. Thomas Rose, the candidate of President Trump as the position of the United States Ambassador in Poland.
Tom is a unique candidate to represent the United States in one of our strongest European allies.
Tom's qualifications reflect his many years of experience and successes in public service and journalism.
As a young journalist, he reported the Apartheid crisis in South Africa, political changes in the Philippines and the fall of the Berlin Wall, and his documentary about the fate of Soviet Jews was nominated for the Emmy Award.
Then he was entrusted with a number of important managerial positions in the media, including the Publisher and General Director of “The Jerusalem Post”, one of the most influential English -language newspapers in the Middle East.
Tom later served as the main strategist and senior advisor at the vice president's office during the first term of President Trump, when I had the opportunity to personally convince himself of his strategic penetration, deep patriotism and a clear understanding of the role of America in the world.
Recently, Tom was a co-hosting talk show, in which he showed a deep understanding of global matters, consistent attachment to conservative principles and the ability to clearly present the interests and values of America to a wide audience-the features necessary to promote the interests of the United States and strengthen American-Polish relations at this critical moment.
Throughout his life and career, Tom showed that he can move on complex issues with clarity, courage and determination.
Poland is one of our most important partners in Europe – Poland spends the most on defense in relation to GDP in NATO and is a key mainstay of the alliance on its eastern flank.
We need someone with Tom's talent to develop American foreign policy in Poland, play the role of a bridge between our rule, defend our national interests and promote the principles that made American-Polish partnership so strong.
Tom is an ideal person for the position of the ambassador of our country in Warsaw and I appeal to my colleagues from the committee to support his candidacy.
