Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station increased water costs to ensure navigation on the hangar

Given the water and hydrological situation, the Yenisei basin water control (Rosvodresurs, then ENBVU) for the period from July 16, 2025 and until the special order established the upper border of costs through hydraulic units of 3,500 cubic meters of water per second.

Earlier, for the period from July 6 to August 1, the operating mode with expenses of 3000-3300 cubic meters per second was set.

During the navigation period, the operating mode of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station is regulated in such a way that the water level corresponds to the established control indicators – the “Boguchana” mark “0 cm” at the “Tatar” – “180 cm” at the “Boguchana” water. Since July 6, the average water costs through the hydraulic units of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station exceeded 3030 cubic meters per second, the station worked in the Range set.

The level of the Boguchansky reservoir in the first half of July was in the area of 207.74 m (above the level of the Baltic Sea), the deviations from this value did not exceed 5-6 cm in a larger or smaller direction. The average level of the Angara in the lower biefe of the station was in the area of 138.43 m.

In 2025, the HPP team successfully completed all the tasks for the preparation and passage of the flood, ensuring the trouble -free operation of the equipment, the uninterrupted production of electricity and the good condition of hydraulic structures. The station continues the planned overhaul of the hydraulic unit No. 5. After the development of the number of hours established by the regulations, the current repair of the aggregate No. 9 began.

The modes of filling and working reservoirs, the passage of floods at the hydroelectric power station is set by the Federal Agency for Water Resources (Rosvodresursi), taking into account the recommendations of the interdepartmental working group, which includes representatives of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, Rosrybolovstvo, Rosmorrechflot, JSC “SB UES”, executive authorities of the subjects of the Federation, etc.
