Prime Minister Donald Tusk, when asked about the situation at the Polish-German border, reported that he would have briefing with the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Border Guard, the army and the police on Monday. As he said, the situation on all Polish borders will be assessed.
“Two matters need to be separated. One – exceptionally nasty – these are actions that are to show that Poland is flooded with illegal migrants from the western side, because it is not true” – noted Tusk.
At the same time, he emphasized that there are cases of incidents at the border, which are currently being examined in detail. He added that during the check -in he would want to find out from the Border Guard how many cases there are.
“I also turned to the German government, personally to Chancellor Merz, with information that each such case will be examined, and the consequence of this will be not to allow anyone, also from the German side, whose papers or the reason why it would be transferred to the Polish side is doubtful” – explained the prime minister.

I will certainly convene a cabinet council. I will want to know all statistical data regarding illegal migrants” – emphasized Karol Nawrocki.

In the conversation, however, he noted that the situation is “so dynamic” that It is possible that President Andrzej Duda will convene the cabinet council in this matter.

President Elekt also criticized the activities of Polish services managed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak. “Probably no one doubts that Polish services are not able to cope with the situation on the border today, “said Nawrocki.
He added that the inhabitants of Western regions of Poland reported this problem to Nawrocki in the election campaign. “If, for six months of the election campaign, the inhabitants of the village in the west of Poland, even Słubic, signaled me the thing we are talking about today and which, unfortunately, only gains momentum, if citizens from the borders' defense movement make their efforts to counteract illegal migration, it means that the situation is not under the control of state authorities today” – Nawrocki continued.
