How to get a rich grape crop: 5 important stages for large, juicy and sweet clusters

In order for grapes to please with juicy and sweet clusters, he needs to help. Fertening during the season work real miracles. Fertilizers are selected taking into account the stages of plant development. From spring to autumn, grapes need different substances.

When to feed grapes

During the season, it is worth feeding the bushes five times: with the beginning of the kidney swelling, before flowering, after the peas reaches the size of the pea, during the ripening of the berries and after harvesting. If you missed the beginning of the season, then it does not matter. Better late than to completely leave grapes without food.

First top dressing: at the beginning of the season

At the start of the vine, you need nitrogen. He is responsible for the growth of green mass. A solution of ammonium nitrate is suitable (20 g per 10 l of water) or urea (10 g per 10 l). The infusion of mullein works well from organic matter. It is necessary to take 1 liter of manure per 10 liters of water, insist on a day, water under the root. The bush requires about 2 liters.

Second top dressing: before flowering

It is already important here to give a complex of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. One of the options 2 tablespoons of nitroammofoska per bucket of water. As an alternative, you can combine 20 g of nitrate, 10 g of superphosphate and 20 g of potassium salt. From organics, you can use a mullein or weak infusion of bird litter (1 liter per 10 liters of water, leave for a week, then dilute 1:10).

Third top dressing: after the appearance of ovaries

Now the plant needs a complex again. You can dissolve 50 g of nitroammofoski on a bucket of water. Or make a mixture of 40 g of superphosphate, 20 g of potassium sulfate and 10 g of urea. Boric acid (10 g per liter of hot water is also useful, then increase the volume of up to 10 liters and spray the leaves).

Fourth top dressing: during the berry pouring period

At this moment, nitrogen is no longer needed. For the berries to be poured and sweet phosphorus and potassium are necessary. A solution of 10 g of superphosphate and 20 g of potassium salt per bucket of water is suitable. This solution can be replaced with an alternative to 20 g of superphosphate, 15 g of potassium salt and 20 g of Kalimagnesia. You can also use boric acid or infusion of wood ash (100 g of ash per 10 liters of water, insist for a day).

Fifth top dressing: after harvesting

The season is completed by potassium top dressing, which helps Loza prepare for winter. The easiest option is 20 g of potassium salt or Kalimagnesia per bucket of water. More concentrated top dressing: 300 g of ash for 10 liters, insist for a day, and then pour under each bush.

It is important to remember

Fertilizers can be applied to the root or on the leaves. It is advisable to moisturize the soil before watering, especially with mineral top dressing. The perfect time is morning or evening when there is no scorching sun. And do not overdo it. It is better to undergo underfoot than to overfeed.
