“Ukraine will receive 350 modern British production rockets from Russian assets to strengthen our air defense. The bullets will be used by specially developed anti -aircraft rocket systems, of which five more will be delivered to Ukraine in the near future” – wrote the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Die explained that this became possible thanks to the era program that allowed to obtain Over 2 billion pounds from interest income on frozen Russian assets. “This is an important mechanism of justice – when the Aggressor country pays for the consequences of his own war,” he noted.
The Minister of Defense thanked the Great Britain's government, Prime Minister Keir Starmer and all partners who still strengthen Ukraine's air defense and help protect the lives of Ukrainian citizens.
Joint production of drones
On Tuesday, dying informed that Ukraine and Great Britain are launching the “megaprojekt” of joint production of drones. During the first three years, the British side will finance the purchase of Ukrainian drones of various types that will be produced in Great Britain – he added.
Earlier on Monday, the Prime Minister of Great Britain announced after meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski in London that both countries reached an agreement on joint military-industrial production. Zelanski thanked the British side for support and declared that the new project would strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
