The IT Holding T1 completed the digitalization project of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO)-this became known as a result of the signing of the partnership agreement on the PMEF-2025.
For three months of work, T1 introduced a mobile application for students, provided the university with a digital bypass sheet, personnel electronic document management, and also created a system of assessing the scientific potential from scratch and transferred training for students with ZOOM to the Russian VKS-Service Dion.
The scientific system developed by the T1 team is a solution that allows the university to aggregate and analyze the scientific activity of the faculty: publications in specialized journals, awards. The platform is used both for internal management and to track the scientific potential of the university as a whole.
Students, in turn, have become available to a mobile application where they can track grades in electronic testing, view the schedule and curricula, interact with teachers and book audiences. T1 also introduced Dion corporate communications platform for a video conference with automatic decoding and webinar regime, where you can divide the participants into speakers and listeners.
“We have created for MGIMO not just a set of individual applications, but a single digital ecosystem – for T1 it is also part of a mission for the transformation of education. Together we create an infrastructure where our technological examination falls on the foundation of the university, giving a synergistic effect, ”emphasized Alexei Fetisov, general director of IT Holding T1.
Another innovation is a digital bypass sheet. Now students submit an application online, and responsible employees check the lack of debts to the university. If they have, the system automatically sends a notification and indicates what actions need to be taken.
For university employees and administrative personnel, T1 additionally automated the process in agreement and processing official notes. The personnel management department is already testing the electronic vacation design – in the future this opportunity will appear in all departments. Employees also received a new tool for contacting the IT service: now applications for technical support can be submitted through your personal account, and not just by phone or email.
“Today, no one has a doubt that the university cannot develop without digitalization. We have been working on digital solutions – in recent months we managed to achieve a serious breakthrough. First of all, students became closer to the university, plunged deeper into university life, in what is happening in MGIMO. This is what is really important, ”said Anatoly Torkunov, Rector of MGIMO.
In the future, T1 and MGIMO plan to continue cooperation, including implementing joint programs and projects regarding import substitution and digitalization, including the implementation of decisions using artificial intelligence.
