The Czech Republic will check Zelanski's allegations. Delivery of precise machines to Russia

– The Russian Federation receives machine tools from some countries – machines that are used in the production of armaments. In the near future they plan to obtain 860 more machine tools for their defense and industrial sector. Importantly, these machines provide 52 companies from China, 15 companies from Taiwan, 13 from Germany, eight from the Czech Republic, six from South Korea, three from Japan, three from India and one company from the USA It provides a small amount of components – said Wołodymyr Zelnski on Saturday.
Minister of Industry and Trade Lukasz VLczek will check if there are Czech companies participating in the production of Russian weapons through e.g. the delivery of machines. In the event of such actions, the ministry announced the appropriate steps against them.
At the same time, the minister stated on Platform X that he was convinced that no products covered by sanctions are exported to Russia directly from the Czech Republic. In his opinion, the ministry did not receive detailed information on this subject from the Ukrainian side.
At the same time, he emphasized that it would be unacceptable if any Czech company “participated in the production of weapons used to kill civilians by the regime, which himself recognized us as a hostile state.”
Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky also stated that he wanted to wait for specific evidence of sanctions by Czech companies.
In this way, the ministers referred to the statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelanski, according to which some companies, including Czech and German, still provide Russia with weapons production machines. Zielnski at the same time called for sanctions on these companies. He noted that he had provided information about these companies to 26 countries, including the United States and the European Union.
