Why does the Pechersk Court “switch” in the case of a Russian deputy who annexed Crimea?
While the Chernivtsi Court condemned 64 deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the Pechersk court of Kyiv could not make a sentence of Magomed Gadzhiyev for 10 months.
Gadzhiev is a former deputy of “Unified Russia”, co -author of the law on annexation of Crimea, active sponsor of terrorists in the Donbass and the army of the Russian Federation. Despite the obvious evidence, the lawsuit is delayed: constant change of lawyers, postponement of meetings, lack of an declared indictment.
Journalists suggest that this is influenced by Gadzhiyev, who has significant financial resources and relationships. He openly declares his opportunities to “resolve” the issue in court and hopes for the defeat of Ukraine in the war.
