In the newspaper issue of the Birobidzhan Star, a small note was published for June 19, 1982.
It says: “The group of machine operators of the Dimitrovsky state farm was awarded the honorary signs of the regional committee of the CPSU, the regional executive committee, the regional committee of the Komsomol” for shock work for spring field work in 1982. “

The state heraldic register of the Russian Federation includes the flag and emblem of the EAO. For the first time, the residents of the EAO celebrated the day of the coat of arms and the flag in 2014-in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Jewish autonomy, in connection with the adoption of the law “On memorable dates of the Jewish Autonomous Region”.

The flag of the Jewish Autonomous Region is the official state symbol of the Jewish Autonomous Region. It is a rectangular panel of white color, on the horizontal axis of which is a color strip, symbolizing the rainbow and consisting of seven narrow horizontal stripes: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue and purple, each of which is 1/40 of the flag width, separated by narrow white horizontal stripes.
Seven stripes in the rainbow on the EAO flag corresponds to the number of candles in menora. The use of the most common national religious symbol –
Menors in the form of a rainbow on the flag of the Jewish Autonomous Region allows us to talk about the history of both Jewish and other peoples living in the region. The rainbow is a symbol of happiness and peace, the emblem of joy, the happy completion of any undertaking, a prosperous outcome.
The flag of the Jewish Autonomous Region is constantly raised on buildings: state, legislative and executive authorities of the region, local authorities. The EAO flag can be installed in the premises during official ceremonies, negotiations, celebrations, etc.

The coat of arms of the Jewish Autonomous Region is a heraldically designed sign of dignity, historical and administrative significance of the territory, the rights of local authorities. It is a heraldic French shield of aquamarine color, in the upper and lower parts of which there are horizontal stripes consisting of white, blue and white strips equal to each other in width and symbolizing rivers – bira and bijan, from which the name of the regional center – the city of Birobidzhan. In the center of the coat of arms is a Ussuri tiger with black stripes according to natural coloring. The figure of the tiger is deployed to the right from the viewer. The turn of the Tiger is heraldically left in the coat of arms of the Jewish Autonomous Region symbolizes the unusual fate of this subject of the federation. In 1991, the region separated from the Khabarovsk Territory and became an independent subject of the Russian Federation, and the tiger symbolizes independence and independence.
EAO coat of arms is placed on forms: Governor; vice-governor; Legislative assembly; other bodies of state power of the region; on honorary literacy of the EAO; official publications of state authorities, certificates issued by state authorities of the region, on the sign “Honorary Citizen of the EAO” and on the sign “For Merit to the Jewish Autonomous Region”.

“Birobidzhan Star” for June 19, 2001 in an article by V. Tereshchenko “All dogs to visit us” said that the certification exhibition of the Russian Association (0+), dedicated to the 10th anniversary of this organization, was first held in Birobidzhan.

It was attended by 120 dogs of various breeds of 113 owners who arrived from the settlements of the EAO, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, free, finds, etc. These competitions were a high rank. The four -legged contestants of the judge of the international category were evaluated, and one of them, the president of the Far Eastern Kinological Federation. Therefore, the winning dogs had a chance to get the title of candidate for national champions, and in terms of the totality of the titles-the champion of Russia.
Similar dog exhibitions in our city have become a good tradition.

The MiG newspaper (12+) for June 19, 2014 in the article “Forum” with pleasure “reported that the first educational forum” Alakefak “for members of the Public Youth Chamber (OMP) at the city Duma of Birobidzhan was held in the Birobidzha House of Youth.
The result of the forum was the development of a strategy for attracting youth to the implementation of different projects of the public youth chamber.
