Israel has launched an intense bombing campaign on the installations of the Iranian nuclear program and the Iranian army bases, especially on the launching facilities of the ballistic missiles.
During the campaign, dozens of high -ranking commanders of the Iranian army and collaborators of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were killed.
But the main Iranian uranium enrichment installations are in underground facilities, which Israel can only hit with anti-Bracar weapons held by the US.
Iran responded with hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones launched in waves on targets in Israel.
The Israeli anti-aircraft systems, especially the Iron Dome system, intercepted most of the projectiles, but the success rate in their interception was lower than usual, so some rockets reached their target or hit inhabited areas and produced victims.
Iran claims that it has hit the Center for Operations of the Israeli Secret Service Mossad at Tel Aviv.
