The ranking in the Romanian group

Everything or nothing for “tricolors”!
After the failure at the limit in front of the “Squadrei Azzurra”, the “tricolors” want to take revenge and get the first points from this final tournament, but the opponent is not easy at all.
Spain – five times winner of the European Youth Championship, last time at the 2019 edition, When Romania ticked the most important terminal of its paths in U21 tournaments: the semifinals of the competition.
Spain lot is ten times more valuable than Daniel Pancu's gearamounting to 262 million euros.
Five players of the “rage of roja” are worth more than our entire lot (24 million euros): Javi Guerra (defensive midfielder, Valencia – 25), Alberto Moliro (far left, Las Palmas – 25), Jesús Rodriguez (extreme left, Betis – 30), Mikel Jauregizar (central midfielder – 30) and Christian Mosquera (central defender, Valencia – 30).
In the first stage, the Iberians encountered some difficulties in front of the host country, Slovakia. They led by 2-0, they were matched, but they obtained all three points in the 90th minute, when Tárrega managed to mark.
A failure, corroborated with at least one equal result in Italy – Slovakia, would be synonymous with the elimination for “small tricolors”. In the case of a draw, there are chances, but Romania would be forced to win with Slovakia in the last stage, regardless of the result of the match at 10:00 pm tomorrow night.

The criteria for separation at Euro 2025, in the case of equality of points, are: 1) points in the direct matches, 2) the difference of goals in the direct matches, 3) goals scored in the direct matches, 4) the application of these criteria for a subgroup of teams still on, 5) the difference of goals in all matches, 6) (under certain conditions), 8) Disciplinary points, 9) UEFA coefficient ranking.
5It is the number of direct meetings between Spain U21 and Romania U21. Four of these ended with the success of the Iberians, the last time at Euro U21 in 2023, score 3-0, one in favor of our own.
What the stadium that Romania will play this evening looks like: it has 22,500 seats and was opened in 2019:

Daniel Pancu: “We have no other chance than to score goals!”
I was saying before the start of this European Championship that, in order to get out of this group, which, for me, would be equivalent to a final or even winning the trophy, we need to be perfect. We didn't miss it with Italy. I tell you this from the posture of someone who analyzes the opponents very much.
We start from the idea of perfection. My biggest frustration related to the match with Italy was not related to misses, but to the very simplistic positioning in the goal received and two more “gifts”. One ended with a bar, the other with an important occasion. This is when the opponent in the first match was an ultra-offensive one, with many occasions.
With us, however, they had the most long balls sent from the goalkeeper and the central defenders and the least occasions. Tomorrow we have no chance than to score goals. I think about whether to intervene in the system, I do not want to go into details, then it will be said that we exaggerate with the level of the opponent. I also think about this, but things are simple: on paper, we need goals.
– Daniel Pancu, within the press conference preceding the match with Spain

Santi Denia: “I have to congratulate their coach”
I have to congratulate the coach (no – Daniel Pancu) for the work done in qualifications. In their match against Italy they had opportunities to equalize and made a very good game. I am a great team both in attack and defense, And we will have to improve our game and evolve much better than we did against Slovakia to get the three points.
