Experts of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor recalled that meat must be included in a healthy diet. Preference should be given to dietary varieties. They contain a sufficient amount of protein with small fat content.
Chicken, veal, horseman, venison, rabbit and turkey are considered dietary. The last two types of meat are hypoallergenic.
The smallest fat is contained in the breast of poultry. Experts also recommended removing the skin and visible excess fat.
What to look for when choosing a product? High -quality meat is elastic, when pressed, it quickly returns to its previous shape. The surface is not sticky, without excess moisture and mucus. The color is uniform, without a gray shade, yellow and green spots. There is no rotten or acidic smell.
There are different ways to cook meat. However, the best will be baking, cooking, stewing or steaming. The meat can be supplemented with vegetables.
Dietary meat is recommended to add to the diet people with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, atherosclerosis, diabetes mellitus, obesity, urolithiasis, gastrointestinal diseases.
